"The Word" and our new Facebook profile.

So we have a couple big announcements we'd like to make during these next couple weeks. I'm only gonna make a few right now. We have a lot of great things going on right now and we're EXCITED about this school year. It's gonna be a special year for Zinch. As we move forward, you'll see what I mean.

Anyway, there are two things I wanted to share right now.

1) "The Word" has been born. Yup, we now have forums. Check them out at Zinch Forums. We are looking for student moderators, so the more you participate in the forums, the more likely you are to be appointed moderator. In the forums, you can talk about EVERYTHING college admissions....and of course, we have sections that you can talk about sports, dating, entertainment, etc. It's fun. Anyone can view the forums....to post something you need to be a member.

2) We have a new facebook profile. Friend us here! We're starting to upload a lot of videos, pics, and "up-close and personal" stuff onto our facebook profile. So if you wanna hear the latest and greatest in news/updates (uncensored), be sure to friend us.

That's about it. Like I said, during the next couple weeks we have plenty of big announcements that we'll be sharing. Stay tuned. It's gonna be a HUGE year for us.

Oh awesome Mick, I was wondering when you were going to announce these new features. I'm also pretty excited about starting the Zinch Flavor which I just got confirmation of becoming President! Awesome, I'm filing new club proposals as as we speak (or rather as I type). =D

Word! This is so cool, and I can't wait for these forums to become a little more active. Awesome idea, guys!

Also, I've been meaning to say thanks for finally launching The Love. I noticed it pop up a few weeks ago, and I'm really looking forward to more of that correspondence with schools. The thumbs up/thumbs down is a smart system, I think.

Way to rock, Zinch!

Mick,

This is seriously amazing. We finally have the chance to get know people across the United States who are in the same boat as us - whether in the triumphs, trials, or tribulations that ensue during high school and the college admissions process.

I couldn't be any happier with what you all have done with this website. From the forums, to college search engines, to scholarships, you guys have covered everything under the sun.

In short, thanks for blessing our lives.

Mick:

You guys are what make zinch so great. Not me or us at Zinch. The students are the life of the Zinch party. Thank YOU!

Also, be sure to always give us your feedback on what you wanna see in new features, what things should change, what we can do better, etc. Our mission is to serve you. That's our NUMBER 1 priority! Tell us what you want. We'll provide it for you. I didn't leave Princeton for nothing. So speak up.

This is a cool idea about adding Zinch profile to our facebook. Personally, I highly agree and support what is going on with Zinch. However, our Dean, which is the strictest position in the school, opposed promoting Zinch movement at school simply because there is something to do with Facebook. To school teachers' concern, this is not unusual that every year there are students using facebook that ruin their life. He was so stubborn even though I explained what exactly Zinch is and how it would help improve our school and student body.

I do really want our school to know more about Zinch, yet the school administrations are not willing to be part of it. I mean I can still telling about Zinch from mouth to mouth. But I probably won't be about to put up some posters and make an announcement in a class.

Could you give me some suggestion about how I keep on promoting if the school does not support it?

Thanks!
