Yale Daily News gives us some props.

As Sid mentioned in the blog a few posts down, Yale recently started testing our service. The Yale Daily News did an article about it. Read it here. I just thought i'd share that with everyone. Peace.

Also, since we're all here. Here's a video that some dudes from Hawaii submitted to us...to show the world that they are more than a test score. Are you more than a test score? Prove it.

Awesome article by Yale on their part. Now I can have proof to show friends that big colleges really do consider Zinch in some way or form. But according to the article, Yale won't use this as part of the admissions process, can you tell me what Stanford will use Zinch for?

And awesome video by the way. I'm making a video currently and it will be up on my school's flavor page asap! Keep an eye out for it.

Mick:

When colleges say they won't use it as part of their "admissions" process, it just means that you'll still need to fill out a regular application like the rest.

Remember, Zinch isn't an application. It's a way to showcase yourself to colleges and put yourself on their radar well before the actual application.

Everyone will still need to apply. But Yale, Stanford and other colleges use this in their initial recruitment efforts (pre-application) to try and let people know about their school so they can apply.

Does that make sense? It's not to apply. It's put yourself out there. Right now a lot of colleges just use your test scores to begin the recruitment process.

We are all more than test scores.

I was surprised, I've actually been to the location in the video when I was visiting my sister who goes to the University of Hawaii.

I was just wondering... if you get the love from yale, then does that mean you are a potential Yalie? or do they send love to whoever shouts out?
