Kirk Vaclavik...campaigning the middle schoolers
Some more Youtube sweetness from Kirk Vaclavik (South #5). He brought one of his entire classes to campaign to a bunch of middle schoolers and told everyone there to vote for him and passed out flyers. That's what he did. What can you do?
Again, send us your stories and successes. We wanna know. The Scholarship Selection Committee needs help choosing 17 people to fill our brackets of 64. Create big news. Create the big splash. Share it with us. Not only can we get you more votes by potentially posting it on this blog (if what you tell us is sweet diggity dawg enough), but you'll also stand out to us as a potential one of the 17 that we are putting through to the next round. What does $20k mean to you? Bring it, don't sing it.

It's really great that Kirk went to the middle school to get votes!
One method that I used was emailing the principal of my school to let him know about this scholarship. We came up with a strategy that involves me going to all the lunch shifts and advertising for myself. This way, I'll be able to reach the entire school. Hopefully my hard work will pay off!
