This is what i'm talking about...

Whitney Young from East #3....nice work.

She was able to get some nice press in her local paper. Watch out everyone...she's gonna make a run.

This is the kinda thing that leads people to victory. Everyone should be pushing for stuff like this. Contact your local radio and newspaper. Get the word out. Do everything you can! Get the community to cast their vote on your behalf. $20k is on the line.

Brad:

That's nice. I'm still looking for a sweet youtube video from somebody. I've seen some, but not creative enough to be blog worthy!

I was definitely one of those youtube videos. I made it last night thinking it was good, until I watched it again after school today. I tried removing it immediately, so hopefully they'll take it down quickly.

I'll be back with the best zinch video you've ever seen TOMORROW.
Just wait.

Brad:

I'll be waiting...you better show me some game!

Arden:

I wouldn't say that this is entirely related...or related at all, but I couldn't find a blog for this, though it has to do with March Madness :)

I was wondering, how did you guys choose how many people move to the next round (to the group of 64 finalists) in each section?

MLO:

I did the same thing! You can read my blog at my local pennysaver!

Brad:

44 Automatic entries based on the semi-finalist voting. 3 Cinderella's based on most invites that register, and the final 17 are chosen by our scholarship committee from those that didn't make it out of the semi's, but either still put up a good fight, or we think they deserve to be in the field of 64.

Whitney Young:

Mick - Thanks for noticing! I interviewed yesterday with the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. I'll send you the story when it runs. I'm getting my butt kicked now, but maybe the tortoise will prevail! ;)
