Seizing Sid's Blog: Day 5
I was surfing the web the other day and I realized it had been months since I checked one of my favorite web comics -- nataliedee.com. So, I went on, and got through dozens of comics before it came to me the thought that many of these drawings actually sort of defined my life up until now. Natalie Dee's comics inevitably make my day better therefore I gathered a hand full that not only make up a mini-timeline of my life but will, perhaps, make your day go a bit smoother. Enjoy.
This is me at age 5, re-learning to read because I somehow managed to forget how to the summer before the first grade (true story).
Age 9, I stopped eating oranges because I thought they had feelings.
Middle School - The science fair before science befriended me.
At age 13 I thought I was athletic. Ha!
8th grade: "See Mom, I told you! I never lose my markers, beavers just ransack my backpack!"
Age 15, You never know what you'll need on any given day in high school. That's why I bring everything and the kitchen sink.
High school turned me into Anxiety Girl.
Oh, Zoology class *reminisces*.
Age 16, AP classes: "WHAT WAS I THINKING?!"
Sweet, I got my braces off but …hmm..,I think my teeth are abnormally big…
Currently, I'm scared that by going to a college in a small town, this is what I'll turn into.
This next comic is unrelatable. It just put a smile on my face.
**A shout-out goes to my first loyal blog reader, Annemarie from TX!! Thanks so much! :D

I almost fell out of my seat when I read the last comic.
"C'mon dude, gimme back my cell phone!"
That's actually sort of like what Mick said after we last played tennis, but he was talking about his dignity, not his cell phone...

haha nice :D thanks, nancy! i'm glad you're down to blog for zinch for a while.
and i def understand the small town college concern. i think my own experience is going to be drastically altered by our college's move from downtown to the burbs of austin (which i love)...but we're still right by the lake, mall and future developments so we'll see. but i'm sure i'll still love it. but YOU strike me as a big-pond fish...there's so much more to write about in the city...music, food, people, art, culture... good luck with your decision this year!
