The Cheese Numero Cinco: Colleges Kicking the Bill

The Project on Student Debt has put together a fantastic list of colleges that have "have developed financial aid policies that limit or eliminate student loans from financial aid packages, reducing costs for students and families."  This is a very well researched and put together resource--you should really check it out.

I did some math on the numbers and reviewed their metrics and thought I would highlight a few schools by their aid package for certain household incomes. If your household income is below XX then be sure to check out these schools:

  • $20,000: Indiana Univeristy (Bloomington), College of William & Mary, University of Florida, MIT
  • $40,000: MIT, Harvard, College of William & Mary, Princeton, California Institute of Technology, Stanford, Yale
  • $60,000: All of the above, plus Columbia and Brown
  • $80,000: All of the above, plus Colby and Amherst
  • $120,00: All of the above, plus Bowdoin and Pomona
