About The Zinch Report

The Zinch Report is the official blog of Zinch.com. We spotlight high school students who have performed extraordinary tasks, both in the classroom and out. We share our advice and knowledge regarding the college admissions process. We share company news, updates and accomplishments. We interview successful individuals who share their experiences to inspire young people around the world. We post random, funny videos and images. We often times share our wild and crazy ideas and thoughts. We laugh. We enlighten. We cry. We pretty much do everything on here....

Whoah. Okay. Back to the serious stuff. Zinch.com exists to extract the wealth of potential in today’s high school students. Through Zinch, students are empowered to showcase their greatness to colleges and universities as an invitation for recruitment. Zinch shines light on those students hidden in obscurity and adds fire to those already burning their candle. On the most basic level, we believe that young high school-aged students are, regardless of circumstance, a champion in embryo. Zinch exists not to create ability (as an embellished resumé might), but to reveal that ability.

“We ask ourselves: ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be these things?” -- Marianne Williamson

The Zinch Report is not a forum, nor is it a typical blog; it is much more like a online magazine or book. As such, although comments are welcome on most of the posts, any comment that we feel does not add sufficiently to the post topic may be removed. Edits are made rarely, usually to correct spelling or to make a hyperlink live, and are made in the spirit of making the article more useful for all readers. All comments are moderated.
